Joy lives in the north part of the Dallas-Fort Worth area with her husband, a math teacher and basketball coach, and their adorable miracle IVF baby. Traveling is a huge priority for their family, and they can’t wait to show their little one the world as he grows up! Joy has always been the friend who makes the trip happen—the one who researches all the details, books everything, creates the itinerary, and sends the reminders. Planning vacations has always been something she loves (and is really good at!), so after years of dreaming about the travel industry, she finally took the leap! She’s so grateful that the Lord led her here and is excited to help others experience the joy of traveling.
With 10 years in the events industry, organizing and coordinating details comes naturally to her. She knows that every trip is unique—she’s had her share of “splurge” vacations that took years of saving and planning, as well as budget-friendly getaways packed with just as much adventure and fun. Whether it’s a bucket-list dream trip or a quick weekend escape, she believes great memories can be made at any price point.
Some of Joy’s favorite trips include a Greek Island cruise and many magical visits to Walt Disney World and Disneyland—including her Walt Disney World honeymoon! She’s also a big Universal fan and a proud Hufflepuff who absolutely loves the Wizarding World. Cruising is one of her favorite ways to travel, especially when there’s a good trivia game on board (Disney, movies, and Broadway trivia? She’s your girl!).
Whether it’s a new city, a theme park, or a relaxing beach trip, Joy loves making memories through travel and helping others do the same. She truly believes that the best moments in life happen when you step away from the everyday and explore someplace new—especially with the people you love.
