A Look at EPCOT's International Festival of the Arts!

Updated: Jan 28, 2021

Epcot has once again turned the park over to Figment, its creative mascot, for the International Festival of the Arts. With Figment's Imagination, the park has been transformed into a hub of artistry for members of the entire family to enjoy. There are a plethora of sights, sounds and flavors that should spark a figment of each guest's imagination. Several of our Diserella Travel Planners have already experienced the festival.

Culinary Arts

Check out the dazzling display of culinary masterpieces available to enjoy during the festival. Sample a host of fun festival flavors such as Old World delights from Germany, refreshing beverages from Italy and tasty treats from the Decadent Delights Refreshment stand.

Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine

Be sure to pick up a Festival Passport as you enter the park. This will list the menus of all the festival food kiosks. Look in the back for your Wonderful Walk Menu. This is a fun exploration of the Festival Flavors that ends with dessert -- a palette of color cookie fun for the eyes and the tummy.

Artistry Abounds

Epcot's Festival of the Arts is a smorgasbord full of must-see exhibitions from artist's around the country as well historical art forms that have been brought to us from other cultures. What's fun about the Festival is that not only are guests able to observe art but are able to actively take part in art. Check out some of our festival favorite art opportunities:

*Chalk Art -- these are constantly changing pieces of work on the walkway between Future World and the World Showcase.

*Featured Artists -- Talented artists are onsite to create, meet guests and offer a selection of art for guests to purchase. You are sure to find a fun piece from the festival to take home

*Expression Section: A Paint-By-Number Mural -- grab a brush and a tub of paint to contribute to the Festival Mural. Guests are all welcome to have a hand in creating this fun masterpiece designed just for this year's festival.

*Step Into Art -- Guests are invited to strike a pose and become part of some well-known masterpieces. Don't forget your cameras as these pictures will be priceless (at least to you) for years to come.

Figment's Brush with the Masters--

Figment has taken over some of the world's most renowned masterpieces. Grab a map with stickers ($7.99) and set out on a search for Figment around the World Showcase. You will be delighted at the fun Figment has made; you might want to grab a few pictures of these whimsical Figment renditions. Return your map for a festival fun souvenir to take home.

The festival is a great way to have a little family fun and explore the world of art at the same time. There is still plenty of time to make a trip to Walt Disney World and the International Festival of the Arts this year. Can't get a way right now?
