Universal's City Walk: The Epicenter of Awesome

What is Universal's City Walk? It's a place to continue the fun after a day in the parks. A place to unite with family and friends over a meal of epic uniqueness. A place to let loose and celebrate before having to return to the reality of life. Let's take a tour of all that City Walk has to offer.

Grab a Bite to Eat

From the Southern Hospitality of Bubba Gump Shrimp Company to the cutting edge sushi concoction at Cowfish Sushi-Burger-Bar, City Walk is full of unique dining experiences that will be an added bonus to your trip to Universal Orlando. Here's just a sample of what your appetite might be craving:

  • Bigfire - where smoky-goodness touches the best steaks and freshwater cuisine available. End your meal with s'mores cooked just to perfection right at your table.

  • Bob Marley-A Tribute To Freedom - enjoy a taste of Jamaica at the open-air veranda and courtyard surrounded by the influence of Bob Marley.

  • Pat O'Brien's - step right onto Bourbon Street, enjoy the entertainment of dueling pianos and dine on the taste of New Orleans Cajun cuisine.

  • The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium - dine on the most delicious classic steak, seafood and pasta dishes, but be sure to save room for the grand finale --the talented chefs at Toothsome create culinary alchemy with gourmet chocolates, artisanal milkshakes and sumptuous sundaes. It's a 19th century themed dream, and a truly fantastical feast. And make sure to say hi to Professor Doctor Penelope Tibeaux-Tinker Toothsome and her robot Jacques while you are there.

  • Voodoo Doughnut - A visit to City Walk is not complete without a tour of the phenomenon known as Voodoo Doughnut. Whether its just to admire all the doughnut creations or to grab a few for a late-night snack, step inside this unique sweet shop. Don't forget to snap a picture just outside in the big pink doughnut chair.

All Universal Table Service restaurants, including those at City Walk, are currently requiring reservations. Make sure to download the Universal App for more information on reservations and mobile ordering.

Do Some Shopping

Where do you shop when visiting City Walk at Universal Orlando? Why, the Universal Studio Store of course! From the Wizarding World of Harry Potter to those cute little Minion dudes, the Universal Studios Store has a little bit of everything that is Universal. Super heroes? Yep, got them. Simpsons? Oh yeah, plenty of that. Dr. Seuss? Why yes, Thing One, Thing Two, a red fish and one that's blue.

  • Grab a new favorite coffee mug for your morning brew

  • Find a cool keychain or magnet to add to your growing collection o

  • A picture frame for that perfect picture you got in the parks

  • A little cold-- grab a sweatshirt

  • Kinda sunny outside -- grab a hat

Everyone will find something cool for a fun remembrance of their trip to Universal Orlando.

Let's Play

Come ready to play at Universal's City Walk:

  • CityWalk's Rising Star - trying out your super star skills at this fun adult karaoke bar complete with back-up singers and live band. This just might be your chance to be discovered!

  • Universal Cinemark Movies - come catch the latest blockbuster in oversized, luxury recliners with extendable footrests and cup holders. Your experience will be heightened while viewing with a wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling screen and complete surround sound.

  • Hollywood Drive-In Golf - 50's Sci-Fi meets horror flick fun in this interactive 2 18-hole mini golf. Choose between The Haunting of Ghostly Greens and Invaders from Planet Putt, for a family fun adventure.

Photo-Ops

There are actually a few cool spots to get some fun pictures around City Walk.

  • The Voodoo Doughnut Chair- this was mentioned earlier, but its a pretty funny site and a great photo opp.

  • Cowfish - right outside the Cowfish restaurant is a cute little cowfish that just loves to be part of family fun pictures.

  • The Quiet Flight Surf Shop -- there is a gnarly wave and surfboard just waiting for guests to pose on. Hey, you might just impress your friends back home with your cool surf moves.

  • The Universal Globe - everybody has to take a picture here.

Because City Walk is so conveniently located between Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, it's easy to fit some time to dine in and explore City Walk into your schedule. It's also a great place to spend the first night of your trip if you arrive a little later in the day and don't want to go to the parks, or to have lunch before leaving town. What's your favorite place in City Walk?
