Exploring the USA: Hershey Park

Our next USA destination may not be known for its beauty but it is definitely high in the family fun category with a little history mixed in. Why not treat the family to a little something different this Spring Break and venture into Chocolate Country with a visit to Hershey Park located in Hershey, PA.



For 115 years, the area has been known as a clean and green destination for family fun. Hersheypark® features 144 acres of outdoor attractions surrounded by shady trees, ample green spaces, and fresh Pennsylvania air.


Exploring the Park


Rides - From the youngest member of the family to the highest thrill seeker, the park offers a little something for everyone. The smallest guests can fly through the air on the Minty Bees while the go-getters take a heart-pumping spin on the Storm Runner. Looking for a unique coaster experience? Experience the Laff Trakk℠ coaster, the first indoor, spinning, glow-coaster in the United States. With over 20 kiddie attractions, 15 coasters and more than 40 family-friendly experiences, Hershey Park is sure to provide a day or two full of family fun.


The Boardwalk Waterpark- Need to chill and cool off for a while during your park visit? Head over to HersheyPark's 11-acre water park. Whether its splash time at Sandcastle Cove, relaxing on the Intercoastal Waterway, getting your spin thrills on one of the Coastline Plunge slides or enjoying one of the other many great water attractions, it will be a great day of water fun in the sun.


Meet the Hershey Gang-Have some fun meeting up and taking a selfie with your favorite Hershey characters including Hershey Kisses, Rolo, Twizzler and of course, the most famous of the Hershey's, Hershey's Bar.


Hershey's Chocolate World


Unwrap your Chocolate Adventure with Chocolate World’s FREE Hershey’s Chocolate Tour, one-of-a-kind Create Your Own Candy Bar Attraction, Hershey-branded gifts and souvenirs, world-famous milkshakes and bakery treats and the World’s Largest Hershey’s Store. Chocolate World is open year round and located next to Hersheypark.

Hershey's Chocolatetown


A fun new region at Hersheypark is coming this summer. The thrills will continue with the addition of Candymonium - the longest, fastest, tallest coaster in the park as well as Hyperdeck --an immersive, virtual reality experience.


Guests will also be able to indulge at The Chocolatier, a new full-service restaurant and bar, The Sweeterie confectionary kitchen and Milton's Ice Cream Parlor.
