Another component in the rollout of Disney's new Genie system is Individual Attraction Selections. To better understand these new features, you may want to read our posts on Disney Genie and Disney Genie+ first.
For the most in-demand attractions at each park, Genie+ Lightning Lane will not be available. Instead, guests will be able to purchase immediate or scheduled access to these rides. This option will be available for all Guests — with or without Disney Genie+ service — and allows you to choose a time to arrive at up to 2 attractions each day. Fortunately, the two attractions do not have to be in the same park if you have Park Hopper tickets.
Pricing for these selections will vary by date, park, and even time of day. Information released from Disney says that at launch guests can expect a range of $7 to $15 per person per Individual Attraction Selection, although this is always subject to change.
Guests staying in a Disney owned resort, Shades of Green, or the Swan and Dolphin resorts may make their first Individual Attraction purchase beginning at 7 AM each day. All other guests may make their IAS purchases at their reserved park's opening time.
Let's take a look at the attractions that allow for Individual Attraction Selection purchases.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure will likely have a higher price point than attractions such as Expedition Everest and Space Mountain as the demand for these two new attractions is still very high. Remy's Ratatouille Adventure is unique in that, at least for the time being, it will also have a free Virtual Queue.
